Sometimes I wish I were a chalkboard.

Just think about it.

A chalkboard at a prestigious college. Or an inner-city high school. Or a suburban elementary school. Think of all the formulas it has seen. All the sentence diagrams. All the timelines in history class. Think of all the people who have imparted their own knowledge on that chalkboard. Brilliant minds sharing their thoughts and teaching their own truths to hungry students. Think of all the things any one chalkboard has taught.

A chalkboard probably has some secrets too. And some fun. Think of all the fun games and board races it has been a part of.

I want to be a chalkboard.
