That first blog, as elementary and small as it was, sparked a fire in my to write constantly and share my words with the world. It gave me a stage, a platform, a (very small) audience. It inspired my decision to start Simply Said.
This blog began as a way to share my thoughts, observations, loves, and dreams with friends and family primarily. I started in during the summer of 2009, right before I began college. I figured that college is a period of time in my life where I would be learning more than I could keep up with, so I might as well write some of these lessons down.
The blog became a thing of its own soon though, and I let it morph without any true direction...wannabe fashion blog, menswear blog, college lifestyle blog...and none of them fulfilled that original desire to keep this space as a place to chronicle my hopes and dreams.
So in a way, Simply Said has returned to its original purpose, a place for me to share the lessons I am learning and the observations I am making on the world around me. Read on, and join me!
