How to Maroon Out

So, today is the first Texas A&M football game of the 2011-12 season, against SMU.  We're coming in with a #7 ranking and some great players ready to score and tackle.  We've got the expectation of joining the best college football conference in the nation. LSU, who beat us in the Cotton Bowl, played yesterday and whipped Oregon, the #3 ranked team in the nation after their loss to Auburn in the BCS Bowl.  A former student, Gov. Rick Perry is running for president and bringing lots of attention to the much-deserving university.  The stadium is sold out, and we are ready to go.  The Spirit of Aggieland can be felt (and seen) everywhere.

Which basically means that half the people (all the females) you will see in College Station today will be wearing matching t-shirt gameday dresses.

So....instead of looking like every other female Aggie tailgating today (or settling on an old ratty maroon tee you picked up at a tent sale two years ago), I've gathered quite a few other garments which can help you to show your TAMU spirit proudly and fashionably!

You could get a cute top and pair it with your favorite white, denim, or khaki shorts or skirt!

Or you could wear a cute dress with flats or cowboy boots...

If you really wanted to spice things up, you could wear maroon on bottom, whether it be a skirt, shorts, or pants! Here are some of my faves.  Pair with a crisp white shirt!

So next time you're headed out to Kyle Field, wear one of these cute pieces (and look the best in all the tailgating pictures posted after)!  You'll thank me later.

Thanks and GIG 'EM!

all my love,
HAD
