shoes really do have the power to change a girl

So I was at home watching What Not to Wear with the family this weekend (honestly, what else do you expect us to be doing?) and one of the girls on the show kept saying that she doesn't care about clothing or style or fashion at all because she is a tomboy and has better things to do with her time, blah blah BLAH.  Whatever.  Then she went into a shoe store and purchased these SUPER high dark grey suede embellished booties and started basically prancing around the store.

My dad looked over at my mom and me sitting on the couch and asked if shoes can really change a girl from being that "boy-ish" to that prissy.  We simultaneously responded with a resounding "YES."

The later that same weekend, my mom and I went to DSW (a place I should not be allowed in unsupervised.  Really, it's dangerous.) and looked for some wedges for me for this spring and summer.  What we found has turned me into a new person.  I'll just let you take a peak. Sorry the picture is so small...I do what I can.

Let's just say I am a changed woman.

all my love,

  1. little monster, you make me laugh. i am a little confused as to what or how you've changed...but you know i LOVE the shoes. wait, didn't i pick them out? YES, I did! we make a very good, but dangerous team. i can already hear DSW calling my name again...the one on I-10 has yet to be conquered!

  2. LOVE these shoes! And love your new background! And love you!! :)
