TKaM is my mom's favorite book, too! I work at a nursing home in Monroeville, AL (you would love that quaint little town) where Harper Lee is from. They do a TKaM play once a year, and I hear it's amazing. I tried to get tickets this year for a Mother's Day gift, but they were sold out. I guess I'll have to get on the ball next year.
