I think I have been feeling sort of dry recently.  Without words to share.  So, whenever this dilemma arises (which it does occasionally) I just make a little trip to Barnes and Noble for some inspiration.  Today I made my usual stop and picked up this lovely little thing:

Here's the description on the back:
"Jane Borden is a hybrid too horrifying to exist: a hipster-debutante.  She was reared in a proper Southern home in Greensboro, North Carolina, sent to boarding school in Virginia, and then went on to join a sorority in Chapel Hill.  She next moved to New York and discovered that none of this grooming meant a lick to anyone.  In fact, she hid her upbringing for many years- it was easier than explaining what a debutante "does" (the short answer: not much).
"Anyone who has moved away from home or lived in (or dreamed of living in) New York will appreciate the hilarity of Jane's musings on the intersections of and altercation between Southern hospitality and Gotham cool."

Needless to say, I am beyond thrilled to read this!  I feel like it's my future in memoir form.  Get pumped for a (hopefully) raving review in an upcoming post!

In the meantime here are some fun things to keep you interested:

Ever wanted to host a cheese party (unlike the failed attempt in high know who you are.)?  Joanna Goddard shows you how to make the perfect cheese plate.

Was this men's style blog written just for me?  I think so.

Love J. Crew? (who doesn't?!)  Here's a sneak peek at their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection from Heather Clawson.

Drooling over this little notes book from Danni!  Newest addition to my "to-craft" list for sure.
