Just look at them. They seem so "relatively" normal, you know? I used to sit in my dad's lap like that. The whole family is just adorable. You've got Will, who is one of the most talented men in Hollywood in my opinion (actor, singer, rapper, stylish). The man started his career at age 16 and won the first Grammy ever given for rap music at age 19. Then there's Jada. She's simply stunning in her own right. Their marriage seems so normal. They've been married for a pretty long time (which is UNHEARD of by Hollywood standards) and they seem to stay pretty far out of the spotlight, which I respect. There's the oldest son Trey from a previous relationship Will had. I don't know much about him. Precious Jaden has starred in
Pursuit of Happyness with Will and then he did
Karate Kid by himself alongside Jackie Chan. AND THEN THERE'S WILLOW.
I don't care that she's only nine years old. Actually, that makes me feel very unaccomplished in life if a THIRD GRADER is more successful at age nine than I will ever be in my entire life. Then again, her entire family is pretty star-studded.
Willow has been in
I Am Legend (with her dad) and she's also in the American Girl movie about Kit Kitteridge with Abigail Breslin. And then there's her music. Listen and watch
this. Enough said. So sassy.
Alright, I'm done. And I'll be whipping my hair for the rest of the week because that song is going to be stuck in my head.

ReplyDeleteMy mom had me read "Are you there God, it's me Margaret" ALONG time ago - I think I was 12 or 13. I'm surprised your reading it! No one seems to know what it is when I reference it. You're dead on about the Smith family - they make it seem easy to keep family first in Tinsel town, gotta give 'em credit.
ReplyDeleteAllison- I was writing a paper on Judy Blume and censorship; a huge chunk of it was about Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. I read it, along with almost all of the other Judy Blume books, when I was younger and I LOVE them all. P.S. I'm so glad you found my blog! Yours is excellent and I cannot wait to read more :)
